The Edwards’s Pheasant is the closest pheasant to Falco that I can find. He’s missing the white crest, but he could be part something else? There are other blue pheasants, but their tails are different than Falco’s.

Either way, have some gender bends.

Great job! I can see they're female without them being hypersexualized.

Also, cool concept for Falco's coloring.

Ohh, Nice ...

When I tried to figure out what species Falco was, the closest I was able to find was the Swinhoe Pheasant [link], but I like the look of the Edwards you found better [link] .

I must admit, I've seen multiple interpretations of Female Falco, and you are the first I've seen who actually remembered to account for female bird colorization. I feel dumb for never thinking about that myself.

Early concept art of his character confirms that he was always meant to be a Pheasant and not a Falcon (in spite of what his name would suggest). However, one can not deny that his appearance does have hints of raptor (bird of prey) in it that don't quite say pheasant.

My headcannon / fannon has involves him being at least part Falcon, but mostly Pheasant, to account for his variance in appearance and personality.

"Hands off my Prey" ~ Falco <-- ... seems to suggest some amount of predatory instinct in him which is not from his Pheasant side.

Anyway ... It's always fun to see gender-bent interpretations of my favorite characters. Nice Job.

I wish DA would give you at least a 5 minute window in which to notice and correct typos in comments, or leave them edit-able until someone replies like I see elsewhere.

I try to proof-read myself before hitting "Send" every time, but I consistently miss things like that all the time anyway.

This is pretty clever for a genderbend! Most people don't really put in any kind of thought beyond 'now he has an hourglass figure ok good'

Awesome job c:
